here is the next toon i have decided to add to this little nostalgic trip of mine here on DA.
when i was around 13 or 14 years old i went through this phase where i was addicted to barbarian style movies like conan & red sonja. but out of all these kind of movies my ultimate favourite was always beastmaster. so i thought it was only fair i added him to my little toon collection. |

Yeah, wasn't Beastmaster a great movie. Tanya Roberts helped me to appreciate the film. Shame she went on to do that bloody View to a Kill with Roger Moore, and then scream throughout the entire movie.
Sorry, digressing again. Beastmaster was out at the same time as The Sword and the Sorcerer and Conan the Barbarian. I remember Beastmaster was more child friendly than the others, which was why I loved it so much. Having watched the other films in later years, I do rate Conan (not the sequel) highly for early 80's nostalgia. Shame about the acting, but I say that about all of Arnies roles, apart from terminator where he didn't have to say much. Then again, he didn't say much in Conan either.
Oh the memories. Thankies for the wonderful trip down memory lane.

The series was the only thing that pissed me off. They killed it in so many levels I decided to erase it from memory. Oh but these are the good times indeed.
I like the way you cartoonized him. Kodo and Podo are just too adorable.
