Description
here are my he-man & she-ra repaints. i hope you like them.
for he-man i basically gave his entire body & head a wash with brown enamel paint to add some definition to his muscles.
once that had dried i then dry brushed on some pale skin tones to add highlights. i then got a saw & cut in some light wounds & filled them with red glass paint. after that i dry brushed his armour & sword, cut the sticky out straps of his armour & just superglued it onto his body. then finally i just touched up on all the fine details.
for she-ra i started off by cutting off her cloak, hair & tiara.
i did a wash on all her skin tones with diluted brown enamel paints. when that had dried i dry brushed pale skin tones to add highlights. i also dry brushed cream paint on her skirt to give a more detailed look to it. i then painted all her gold parts black then dry brushed gold over the top of them to give a more metalic look. i also painted her boots brown with gold detailing.
after that i scalped the hair off a classic she-ra figure & attached it to my new she-ras head, then cut off the side parts of her tiara & superglued the tiara to her head.
i then made her a new cloak using a really light weight velet fabric which flows a lot better than her original cloak.
finally i cut into her leg with a saw & filled it in with red glass paint to create a scar.
her sword was taken from a mcdonalds he-man figure as it is smaller than the actual he-man figures sword. to it i dry brushed some detailing & also added some gold details. finally i added jewels to she-ras sword, knee pads & tiara.
