jessica rabbit custom doll by nightwing1975 jessica rabbit custom doll by nightwing1975
i am currently selling this jessica rabbit doll on ebay. for anyone who is interested, here is the link...

[link]

she was created using a disney little mermaid 12" doll as a base.
i repainted her face to look more like jessica rabbit.

her gloves are painted on & her dress was hand stitched using a very light weight fabric.

i finished her off by giving her a pair of red barbie shoes.

I think that you did a wonderful job on the doll. I never knew that you can turn a Ariel doll into Jessica Rabbit.

I still can't believe Jessica was an Ariel doll. Who knew the Ariel doll could be transformed into the sinfully sexy Jessica Rabbit?

thank you.

i basically started off by removing all the paint on ariels face. i then painted in the whites of her eyes. next was the iris & pupils. i then painted in her eyelids & finished off with her eyelashes.

pinally i painted her lips.

it was quite an easy paint job to do as long as you have an image of jessica rabbit to work from you will be fine :)

cool, i cant wait to see it.

yea either paint remover or nail polish remover will do the job. just make sure you wash the dolls face well after removing the paint.

This is amazing! Did you change her skin color too? It may just be the lighting, but Jessica's skin looks a bit more tanned than the original doll. It's absolutely amazing otherwise.

it really depends on the amount of work you put into it. if its just a basic face paint you could maybe start at around 20 to 30. but if you make the clothes you could start at around 50 to 60 (again this price would depend on the amount of time & work put into making the clothes). if you reroot the hair i would charge a lot more seeing as there is so much time put into that.

the dolls i have sold have went from around 60 to 300. but i have seen people selling custom dolls for a LOT more than that.
