strange,
it is like the third figures are the fusion of the first two in each set

That; and the Hordak and Skeletor figures in the center rows are BA

I like how some of them went back to a more "classic" look to them in 2010.

The evolution of MOTU action figures. I just recently got Adora and Catra MOTU Classics figures and I must say, they changed from when I was a kid.

unfortunately they are really hard to get hold of as they are only available online & are there are only limited quantities released of each character.

here is a link to where you can buy them though [link]

they also appear on ebay quite a lot so if you do a search under MOTUC you should find something.

i hope this was of some help :)

damn.. these pics make me miss my Vintage Heman figs that i lost. But i gotta say that if not only for the limited mobility (no ab crunch, knees and ankles), i like the 2002 figures more. But the 2010 Battlecat is the definitive BC!

based on the prices though, its a pretty hard thing to get... on top of which, there arent much circulating around... do you have it? I envy your collection and if you have BC, that tops it off!

Yeah, the 2002 series are the best for the designs and the amount of details, but the muscular built of the original is still top notch! I think those were the first "bodybuilder" figures to ever appear in the toy market, right?

Neat idea, this is great pic. Interesting how much homage the 2010 versions pay to the 80's.
Anybody else remember the episode of the 2002 show where the heroes locked a magic belt to Skeletor that gave him an electric shock whenever he even THOUGHT about doing something too evil? That was hilarious, an all-time favorite show.

Awesome collection. I wish I had my old originals. I have the middle He Man broken at the torso and the middle Skeletor...whose hood now comes off (I actually loved the new He Man series). I like how these lines are one step forward and two steps back. :)

yea the 2002 he-man series was amazing, its just a real shame it never got the third season it so strongly deserved.
being a huge fan of the original series, what makes me love the 2002 series is how true it has kept to the original. it did make changes to the characters appearances but they were always recognisable when compaired to the originals. i also loved how it developed the characters in the storylines.:)

I know! They were just getting into Hordak, too.

That's what I liked about the new series. Some people said that it wasn't as good as the original because it was too different, but they probably didn't know that it was the same story only in more detail and it had more character depth. If they are only going by nostalgia, then they'd probably think it wasn't as good as they remember. I still like both brands, but, say, Catra talking drives me insane. Especially when talking to Hordak. Lots of rolled R's, mrrowing, and snorting.

yea definately. i really loved the old series as a kid & it will always have a special place in my heart. but i really do think that the new series was the next step up for masters of the universe. yes it was different in the style of the animation but the characters were still recognisable & they really did an amazing job with the character building.

Personally, I liked how Adam looked different than He Man in the new series (but I still like how he was identical in the first series just for how funny that is if you think about it). I learned a lot of cool things in the new series like Skeletor was actually a half brother of Randor (and Keldor is Skeletor) and there actually was a KING Greyskull. If this stuff was in the original series, I have long forgotten (I was 6 in 1985) and they probably wouldn't have went into too much confusing detail for its then target audience.
