Great job on Number One. The Cage was such a classic first pilot. Would love to see your versions of Gary Mitchel and Dr Dehner from Where No Man Has Gone Before.

I have mixed feelings on her. I admire how she was written and how Majel Barret portrayed her. But the problem is that, if there is a prototype for Mary Sue characters, she's it. By the way, most "expanded universe", materials state that her name is Eureka Robin.

I believe the non-canon Number one is quite Suey, but the canon One doesn't seem to me that way. She is quite mysterious, but that's why we do not know anything about her, except the fact she is a first officer and a logical person.

She is the prototype for a Mary-Sue, but she isn't quite one. If you watch carefully, you can see many traits of a Mary-Sue are there.
