I never thought i'd see this guy in a long time, i was a huge fan of Walt Disney when i was kid and i'm still am now, it's just sad that they don't make cartoons like this anymore, the rescuers was one of my favourite Disney cartoons and it still is today, great artwork my friend
thank you so much, im really pleased you like it. yea i know what you mean, i also feel the classic movies are definately the best, i think disney movies today are trying to be too hard to be funny & wacky which means they have lost a lot of their magic. dont get me wrong, there are still some good modern disney movies but there is just something missing in my humble opinion.
You're not wrong there my friend, i'll agree they made some good funny cartoons for the kids today but it was the disney back then i loved and always will, toy story was good but nothing beats the old classics like peter pan, aladdin, cinderella, sleeping beauty, lady and the tramp, 101 dalmatians cartoon version and so on, especially the mickey mouse, donald duck and goofy cartoons, good times.
Truer words were never spoken my friend, i just wish the creators could see it from the fans POV but that'll only happen if they get their acts together which i doubt is ever going to happen, but i suppose we can just buy the dvds, enjoy them and remember the origins of Disney cartoons that evolved today.
yea i think the main problem is all the new cartoons af focused for the majority of kids of today who dont seem to have the same attention span as our generation had as kids. everything has to be all mad & wacky. i know that all kids today arent like that & some really love the classic movies too so it is a shame that disney dont focus on this aspect as well as the fact that there are also a lot of adult fans out there who would love to see more classic style movies made. i guess its all just down to what makes them the most money & not what the fans want. but you are right, at least we still have the dvd's.
You're not wrong about adult fans my friend, i'm 26 coming up 27 this year and i still love the old disney cartoons today, i bet if kids today saw the cartoons we watched when we were their age they probably say something like, "dad how come i don't see cartoons like this on tv or in cinemas anymore", and the father would say "cause son when another company took over disney they changed it from the magic of cartoons when i was your age to the wacky and crazy cartoons you watched today, we didn't have any of that crap that some people wouldn't even dare watched" like you said my friend all they care about is the money rolling in and not what the fans want which they seem to forget we're the reason why their making money.
